Born in 1957 as a farm cooperative in order to collaboratively face the post-war problems, the Cooperative G. Toniolo – Conscio gradually expanded in time by enhancing cereal harvesting and building two medium-sized shopping facilities: ‘food products’ and ‘do-it-yourself’. In 2008 it started developing a project and an expansion plan which led it to build a new shopping facility with the renovated and expanded medium-sized ‘food products’ and ‘do-it-yourself’ facility, a new location for the administration offices, a meeting room for the members, a bar called ‘Toniolo’, a branch bank, a municipal pharmacy, a children’s multi-purpose centre various offices and business activities where hairdressers and beauticians operate.
