Welbee’s Supermarket in Malta

The Biancoarancio studio was commissioned to follow the project for a supermarket inside a new university complex in Msida, Malta.

The supermarket, part of the Welbee’s chain, has a fresh and innovative style. The design of the rooms was influenced by the colors of the brand (green, yellow and orange), which, recalling nature, gave inspiration for the creation of environments that recall the forest. The main elements used to achieve this effect were the painting of the ceilings with green color, the use of a warm-colored wood-like floor and the use of leaf-shaped and rectangular lightboxes, with printed frond graphics.
